Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has announced that Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has placed an order for 15 B737-800SF conversions with options for an additional 15 freighters. AEI will commence the conformity B737-800SF modification in 2016 and expects to receive FAA Supplemental Type Certification in 2017. AEI Delivers 3rd B737-400SF to Cargoair
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) announced that it has delivered the third B737-400SF 11 pallet position to Sofia, Bulgaria based Cargoair. The aircraft, built in 1990 is a high gross weight B737-400 with only 30,000 cycles. Cargoair will operate the aircraft under a long-term contract for the European integrator, DHL. AEI announces B737-800SF launch customer
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has announced that GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) will be the launch customer for the AEI B737-800SF programme. GECAS plans to convert up to 20 of its Boeing 737-800NG passenger aircraft to freighters. Aeronautical Engineers (AEI) has received an order for another B737-400SF 11 pallet position freighter from Bulgaria based Cargoair. The aircraft, built in 1990 (MSN 24691) is a high gross weight B737-400 with only 30,000 cycles and is undergoing modification at Commercial Jet’s Miami facility. AEI delivers sixth freighter to DHL
Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI) has delivered the sixth B737-400SF freighter to DHL. Southern Air will operate the aircraft for DHL Express in the Americas. Airwork orders seven AEI B737-400SF conversions
New Zealand-based Airwork has ordered two firm and five optional B737-400SF eleven pallet configuration passenger-to-freighter conversions from Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI).
