Kazakhstan has gradually reopened its borders as Air Astana resumed direct flights to major cities, such as Seoul, Dubai, Frankfurt, Kyiv, and Istanbul. Air Astana will resume scheduled flights from Almaty and Nur-Sultan to regional centres across Kazakhstan following the end of the national state of emergency on 11th May 2020.
