Trai Thien Air Cargo Joint Stock Co., a unit of Trai Thien Group, is expected to start providing air cargo services from March 2010, a company executive said Thursday, according to Dow Jones. Despite growing signs that the sharp decline in global air cargo volumes over the last year is beginning to level off, major international carriers are continuing to reduce their freighter operations. Abu Dhabi reports further cargo growth
Like neighbouring Dubai, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has reported ongoing growth in cargo and passenger movements with a 6.2 per cent increase in cargo volumes in August, year-onyear and a 12.4 percent rise in aircraft movements.
