Cathay Pacific Airways announced a new four-times-weekly service to Spanish capital of Madrid, from 2 June 2016, subject to government approval. The new service, operated with B777-300ERs will be the only direct link between Hong Kong and Madrid and will also offer belly cargo opportunities. Qantas ups belly frequency to HK, Manila
From 26 October 2015, Qantas will operate an additional four Sydney-Hong Kong services using A330 aircraft each week, on top of the current daily services available from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. V-D delivers Cypress trees to Tashkent
Twenty-eight 7.5 metre cypress trees have arrived in the Uzbekistan capital, Tashkent, onboard one of Volga-Dnepr Airlines’ IL-76TD-90VD freighters. The trees were flown in from Brno in the Czech Republic for a landscape reconstruction project in Tashkent as part of the city’s preparations to host the 2016 Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit. Airbus begins A330neo production
Airbus’ first A330neo is coming to life one year after the programme was launched, with the first 'cutting of metal' underway at its production facilities in Toulouse and Nantes.
