Alibaba’s Cainiao boosts fleet with B757s for Russia delivery
Alibaba Group’s logistics arm Cainiao Network is adding new Boeing 757-200 cargo planes to match the surge in cross-border deliveries starting August, announced a press release. UK freight association tells members to apply for customs training funding
The British International Freight Association (BIFA), the trade association that represents UK freight forwarders, advised customs intermediaries to apply for the £50 million worth of fresh funding from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to extend, train or take in staff, including furloughed ones, confirmed a press release. Results from the International Airport Transport Association (IATA) show that demand for air cargo in Asia Pacific fell 21.6 percent year-on-year in June, reflecting a mild improvement from the 24.6 percent drop in May, a press release confirmed.
