SIA Group posts net loss in first quarter despite cargo picking up slack

Alibaba’s Cainiao boosts fleet with B757s for Russia delivery

Alibaba Group’s logistics arm Cainiao Network is adding new Boeing 757-200 cargo planes to match the surge in cross-border deliveries starting August, announced a press release. UK freight association tells members to apply for customs training funding

APAC’s air cargo dips 21.6 percent in June as global demand slowly recovers

Results from the International Airport Transport Association (IATA) show that demand for air cargo in Asia Pacific fell 21.6 percent year-on-year in June, reflecting a mild improvement from the 24.6 percent drop in May, a press release confirmed. LATAM Brazil makes ‘mega-delivery’ of medical supplies to combat COVID-19

LATAM Brazil concluded the 3,200-tonne ‘mega-operation’ to transport Chinese medical equipment and supplies to combat COVID-19 in Brazil after almost 3 months, a press release confirmed.  Since May, more than 3,200 tonnes of cargo were transported in 45 flights, including 250 million surgical and N95 masks, monitors, respirators and other medical supplies. Asia Pacific’s air cargo demand contracts 16 percent in H1
