Boeing raises forecast for airplane demand in China
Boeing projects a demand for 7,240 new airplanes in China over the next 20 years with a total value of nearly $1.1 trillion dollars, according to its annual China Current Market Outlook (CMO). Airplane demand had also rose 6.3% over last year’s forecast. US$33 billion to be spent by airlines and airports on IT this year
According to the SITA 2017 Air Transport IT Trends Insights Airlines and Airports are estimated to spend nearly US$33 billion on IT this year, and they are focusing their technology investments on similar priorities. Top of the agenda for both are investments in cyber security and cloud services.
