The latest data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) shows a further slowdown in global air freight demand in June. Preliminary traffic figures for the month of July released today by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) show continued growth in both air freight demand and international passengers. Signs of a clear, but fragile recovery in air cargo demand are being driven by companies restocking inventories which have run low, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) said on Thursday.
