Cathay to launch new service to Dùsseldorf
Cathay Pacific Airways announced an expansion of its presence in Europe with a service to Düsseldorf beginning 1 September 2015 (subject to government approval). Düsseldorf will become the airline’s second destination in Germany, after Frankfurt, and marks the latest enhancement to its Europe network following the launch of Manchester in December 2014 and Zurich, which will commence operations in March. SWISS renames its European subsidiary
Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has renamed its Swiss European Air Lines subsidiary, the operator of its Avro RJ100 fleet. The company will now be known as Swiss Global Air Lines. The renaming has been prompted by the planned integration of the new long-haul Boeing 777-300ERs into the company’s aircraft fleet.
