Express and logistics integrator DHL has successfully delivered the first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines on a cargo flight from Belgium to Japan last week. The company said freezers had to be installed at its facility to safely store the vaccines at below 70°C until domestic delivery. CMA CGM bets on air cargo with new division, A330-200Fs
CMA CGM has created a ‘specialised’ air freight division as it expands its shipping and logistics business with new products and solutions for shippers. The ocean shipping and logistics company is set to buy four 60-tonne-payload Airbus A330-200 freighters. These aircraft, which came into service between 2014 and 2016, can cover 4,000 nautical miles and will be operated by a European airline, the company said. QR Cargo names GSAs in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt
Qatar Airways Cargo is set to restart cargo sales and bookings in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Egypt starting 21 February with the appointment of general sales agents in each country.
