WFS unveils new cargo terminal at Brussels Airport

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has opened a new cargo terminal at Brussels Airport as it aims to future-proof its operations at the air cargo hub. The 25,000-sqm facility has capacity for 250,000 tonnes and was designed to optimise speed and deliver self-service and real-time information for airlines and freight forwarders. WFS gains IATA CEIV Pharma Cert in Brussels

Pharma volumes handled by WFS in Brussels rose by some 170% in 2016 and will soar to a new high in 2017. Volumes in the first 10 months of the year have already exceeded three million kilos. WFS wins Singapore Airlines Cargo business in Stockholm

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has won a three-year contract to handle cargo for Singapore Airlines new services from Stockholm.   At the end of May, the airline launched five Airbus A350-900 flights a week connecting Singapore and Stockholm via Moscow. WFS acquires Swissport’s cargo business at Copenhagen

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has acquired Swissport's cargo business at Copenhagen Airport. WFS will take over Swissport's 4,200 square metres cargo terminal at Copenhagen Airport, which handles 18,000 tonnes a year on behalf of leading international airlines.
