Yusen opens its sixth warehouse in Sydney
Yusen Logistics Australia will open its sixth Sydney warehousing facility this month. The site is at Greystanes in Western Sydney and is ideally located for all major arterial routes. The new warehouse, which is dedicated to a major US retailer, consists of 12,500 sq metres and will comprise 18,500 pallet locations. Operations will commence immediately. Etihad doubles freight volume to Melbourne
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has announced plans for a second daily non-stop service between Abu Dhabi and Melbourne from 1 August 2015. The largest transport and logistics ‘super hub’ in TNT’s global network is under construction at Tullamarine.
