Qatar Airways Cargo is to begin a twice-weekly B777 freighter service from Doha via Luxembourg to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Quito with a return via Miami. Boeing and Cathay Pacific Airways celebrated the delivery of the airline's 70th 777 aircraft – also the last and 53rd 777-300ER of its confirmed orders – that has made Cathay Asia's largest operator of the B777 fleet. With today's delivery, Cathay Pacific's B777 aircraft fleet comprises of 53 B777-300ERs, 12 B777-300s and five B777-200s. Debris found on Reunion Island studied for links to MH370
France’s air crash investigation agency - Bureau d’Enquêtes et d’Analyses (BEA) - is studying a piece of plane debris found on Reunion Island off the east coast of Africa, but officials say its still to it was too early to say if it came from missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. Qatar Airways announces the next phase of its USA route development with the introduction of three new routes to Los Angeles, Boston and Atlanta. Saudia takes delivery of B777 freighter
Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) took delivery of its first B777-F, HZ-AK71 (msn 60337), in Jeddah on 2 April, following a delivery flight from Everett. The carrier has four of the type on order from Boeing, with the remaining three due to be delivered by the end of December.
