IAG Cargo is adding back five African routes to its network, including Lagos, Cairo, Cape Town, Abuja and Accra, which is expected to support trade in the region. IAG Cargo has announced that businesses operating between London and the Indian city of Chennai are to benefit from the introduction of the Boeing 787 to the route. One of the most advanced aircrafts in the world, the B787 will commence flights on IAG Cargo’s service between Heathrow and Chennai on 26 October, at the start of the winter schedule. Air Berlin shelves plan to sell Liesure Cargo
Air Berlin, Europe’s third-largest discount carrier said it has shelved plans to sell its standalone cargo unit - Leisure Cargo - after failing to attract a bid that matched the company’s own valuation and said it is reviewing an order for Boeing’s 787s.
