HAECO extends partnership with China Airlines
HAECO ITM Limited announced today that the company has extended its long-standing agreement with China Airlines (CAL) to provide inventory technical management support for the airline’s expanding Boeing 777 fleet until 2029. IAG Cargo restarts five cargo routes in Africa
IAG Cargo is adding back five African routes to its network, including Lagos, Cairo, Cape Town, Abuja and Accra, which is expected to support trade in the region. The cargo carrier will continue operating daily services to Johannesburg and four weekly flights to Nairobi. For the new routes, the cargo carrier will run daily cargo flights using wide-body 777 and 787 aircraft to and from London Heathrow. Lufthansa welcomed a brand-new Boeing 777F landed at Frankfurt Airport on 31 August, according to a press release. Registered D-ALFH, the cargo aircraft made its departure from Everett Airport in Washington State, and the flight took 9 hours and 24 minutes. Emirates SkyCargo is set to further strengthen trade lanes between Switzerland and its worldwide network with the introduction of a weekly freighter service from Basel to Dubai starting 21 September 2014.
