HKIA sees robust growth in cargo volumes

Air cargo throughput at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) registered growth of 10.3 per cent to 659,000 tonnes during the first two months of the year.  The combined growth of cargo throughput for the first two months was mainly attributed to 12 per cent year-on-year growth in exports and 10 per cent growth in transshipments. CPSL reports first full-year tonnage performance

Cathay Pacific Services Limited (CPSL) released its first full year handling tonnage. In 2014, Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal (CPCT) handled 1.45 million tonnes of cargo. Hactl makes strong Q4 impression

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) ended 2014 with its strongest quarter of the year, handling 491,476 tonnes (up 4.9 per cent on the same period of 2013). The last quarter was also the best of the year for exports, which totalled 287,456 tonnes (up 4.2 per cent on 2013), for imports, which totalled 131,202 tonnes (up 7.7 per cent) and for mail and express, which totalled 41,558 tonnes (down 2.2 per cent). Schiphol cargo up 6.7% in 2014

2014 was another solid year for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol‘s cargo traffic, beating 2013 by 6.7 per cent. The final quarter of the year was once again its strongest, maintaining the classic last-quarter-peak pattern which was the norm before the 2008 global recession. HKIA sets record for cargo in November

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) set a new monthly record for cargo tonnage throughput in November 2014. During the month, cargo volume rose by 5.5 per cent year on year to reach 421,000 tonnes. Etihad sees surge in cargo in Q3

Etihad Airways' total cargo tonnage rose 9 per cent, year-over-year, in the third quarter of this year, which helped boost overall revenues at the UAE flag-carrier by 29 per cent.
