Qatar Airways Cargo receives fourth A330 freighter

Qatar Airways Cargo took delivery of its fourth Airbus A330-200 freighter. The A330-200F has a payload capability of 70 metric tonnes and a range of up to 4,000 nm (7,400 km), and with its arrival adds even greater capacity to Qatar Airways Cargo’s rapidly expanding fleet. UTi charters B747F to ease US port congestion

UTi Worldwide has scheduled weekly charter service from Shanghai to the US to ease the backlog of goods needed in North America. Air Partner sees encouraging business recovery

Global chartering company Air Partner said its freight business is recovering significantly, albeit from a low base. There was significant activity related to aid agency work associated with relief efforts after Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, it noted.
