Korean Air has announced it will add two non-stop services to China from Incheon International Airport in Seoul, beginning 27 May. This will bring Korean Air's services between Incheon International Airport, Seoul, and Xi’an, a western city in China to five flights per week using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. One year postponement for UAL China flights
United Airlines has received permission from the US Transportation Department to delay the start of flights between San Francisco and Guangzhou, China until June 2010 because of the steep drop off in demand. The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will cut its 2009 economic growth projection for China to below 6.5 per cent, the Wall Street Journal reported. The OECD's previous forecast, made in November, was 8 per cent, but Richard Herd, the organisation's chief economist, said it was unlikely China will achieve this goal. Last week, the World Bank revised its projection for China's GDP growth to 6.5 per cent from 7.5 per cent.
