DHL Express has become the first international express company to handle transhipment cargo at its US$175 Million DHL North Asia hub in Shanghai which it opened last year. The global express giant undertook its first transhipment operation on the evening of 21 November involving approximately eight tonnes of transhipment cargo. Emirates, DHL form security partnership

Emirates and DHL have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a strategic security partnership to enhance air cargo security in the region. DHL expands network with Aerologic

DHL has expanded its air network with an Aerologic route linking the UAE to Asia and Europe. Aerologic, the joint venture cargo airline of DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo, will operate a B777F flight between Leipzig and Hong Kong with a connection in Sharjah, the third largest emirate of the UAE. ABX parent may expand fleet

Wilmington, US-based Air Transport Services Group Inc. (ATSG) has said it may expand its fleet by acquiring three B767-300 aircraft. ATSG is the parent corporation for ABX Air whose biggest customer was DHL Express before the German express and logistics company decided to pull out of domestic operations after years of losses.
