DHL Express is making minor tweaks to its air network in Asia Pacific to meet the ecommerce boom that has spread across the region, particularly in Vietnam and Malaysia. The express service provider will now operate direct flights to Penang (PEN) from its central Asian hub in Hong Kong (HGK), replacing the previous route connected via Ho Chi Minh (SGN). DHL Supply Chain goes green in Thailand
The contract logistics arm of DHL in Thailand is on track to meet its zero carbon emissions target by 2050, as it invested US$1.2 million (฿36 million) for solar panels to optimise energy consumption, and rolled out ‘greener innovations’ throughout its operations.
