e-Fast Delivery launched at Schiphol

Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo has joined forces with Rhenus and Cargonaut in launching e-Fast Delivery, a new concept to simplify the cargo delivery process. Since 13 May, truck drivers have been able to deliver air cargo at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol directly to designated loading docks without first stopping at the documentation desk. Mumbai’s e-freight charges declared “illegal”

India’s aviation watchdog has ordered Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) to stop levying “illegal” consignment software charges of INR 300 (US$4.80) per entry on as many as 4,500-5,000 shipments are made daily by freight forwarders at CSIA. New collaboration to promote e-freight in Shanghai

The International Air Transport Association (IATA), Shanghai Customs, Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Shanghai Airport Authority, China Eastern Airlines, and Shanghai E-port have signed a Letter of Initiative (LOI) to jointly promote e-Freight in Shanghai. Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) announced that the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru has been rated as an e-freight compliant airport by IATA for its cargo operations. This project reiterates the airport’s efforts in sustaining the long-term well-being of the environment.
