Emirates SkyCargo and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to streamline processes for the transport of dangerous or hazardous goods. The two entities will work together to “proactively share information on certain classes of dangerous goods booked for transport” on the airline through Dubai. Dubai launches alliance to speed up vaccine transport
Dubai has launched an alliance to speed up distribution of Covid-19 vaccines particularly to emerging markets that have been hit hard by the pandemic and where transport and logistics will likely be a challenge. Emirates SkyCargo transports Brazil’s satellite to India
Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates airlines, successfully flew a cargo charter flight to transport a 22-tonne shipment carrying parts of a Brazilian satellite from Sao Jose dos Campos in Brazil to Chennai in India. Emirates SkyCargo delivers Covid-19 vaccine to UAE
Emirates SkyCargo has achieved yet another milestone by transporting the first shipment of Covid-19 vaccines to the UAE for the first time on behalf of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). The vaccines manufactured by Pfizer-BioNTech were transported from Brussels airport (BRU) on Emirates flight EK 182 on 22 December and arrived at Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 2215 local time.
