Fraport 2018 First Quarter Traffic Figures
In the first three months of 2018, Frankfurt Airport (FRA) welcomed more than 14.4 million passengers – an increase of 10.0 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Positive trends continue at Fraport (FRA)
Frankfurt Airport’s (FRA) cargo throughput (airfreight + airmail) increased by 4.9 percent year-on-year to 200,827 metric tons. Accumulated maximum takeoff weights (MTOWs) also climbed by 12.7 per cent to about 2.5 million metric tons. Aircraft movements rose by 16.6 per cent to 39,124 takeoffs and landings. Frankfurt continues to see decline in cargo volumes
Frankfurt Airport (FRA) saw a continuing trend of recent months with a 1.4 per cent drop in cargo volumes to 159,721 tonnes in February compared to a year ago. The airport saw a similar trend to other airports on the passenger side with passenger numbers up 3.8 per cent year-on-year.
