Passenger traffic reaches post-pandemic high at HKIA in July
Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) released Hong Kong International Airport’s (HKIA) air traffic statistics for July 2024. During the month, HKIA handled around 4.8 million passengers, representing a 24.7% year-on-year growth, while cargo throughput was up 14.6% to 414,000 tonnes in July. HKIA crowned World’s Busiest Cargo Airport again in 2023
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has been named once again the world’s busiest cargo airport for 2023 in terms of total volume, according to the latest data released by Airports Council International (ACI).
