Paramount Air to launch d2d cargo service Chennai-based Paramount Airways is planning to launch a door-to-door cargo service under its own brand. "We are going to launch an all emcompassing cargo division. It will be for door-to-door cargo service and will be introduced under the brand name 'Paramount'," Chairman of the airline M Thiagarajan told PTI. The Indian government is unlikely to allow foreign airlines to directly buy stakes in local carriers before the upcoming federal elections, Dow Jones reported. Terror warning puts Indian airports on high alert
India airports across the country were placed on high alert after the country's Bureau of Civil Aviation received an e-mail warning that on 6 December, terror groups might strike at airports located on coast of the western Gujarat state.
