Lufthansa Cargo is integrating Lagos into its own network through twice-weekly freighter flights. Emirates adds second daily Nigeria service
Emirates has now connected Abuja, the Nigerian capital, to its worldwide network making it the carrier’s 26th destination in Africa and its 144th worldwide. Emirates began the daily A340-300 service to Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on 1 August, marking the start of the airline’s daily service to its second destination in Nigeria. Saudia Cargo B747 overruns Nigerian runway
A Saudia Cargo B747 freighter has overrun the runway in Abuja, the Nigerian capital and ran into a maintenance area of the airport before bursting into flames, according to a report in Nigeria's PM News. The report quoted unnamed aviation sources late Wednesday night who said the fire was quickly suppressed.
