Agility to invest up to US$100M in Africa in 2015

Lufthansa Cargo starts new freighter flights to Lagos

Lufthansa Cargo is integrating Lagos into its own network through twice-weekly freighter flights. From 15 September, a Lufthansa Cargo MD-11 freighter will take off from Frankfurt for the Nigerian city every Monday and Thursday. Lagos is an important destination for the oil and gas industry. Emirates adds second daily Nigeria service

Emirates has now connected Abuja, the Nigerian capital, to its worldwide network making it the carrier’s 26th destination in Africa and its 144th worldwide. Emirates began the daily A340-300 service to Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on 1 August, marking the start of the airline’s daily service to its second destination in Nigeria. Saudia Cargo B747 overruns Nigerian runway

Panalpina makes smooth Nigerian domestic exit
