Hong Kong International Airport’s (HKIA) tonnage grew year-on-year (YOY) by 7.1 per cent in October to 420,000 tonnes in the month. The strong growth was mainly attributed to the robust 13 per cent YOY growth in transhipments. Drewry: shipping volumes to hit one billion teu by 2020

DHL Express first to tranship at Shanghai Pudong
DHL Express has become the first international express company to handle transhipment cargo at its US$175 Million DHL North Asia hub in Shanghai which it opened last year. MASkargo looks to transhipment discounts
Malaysia Airlines Cargo (MASkargo) is pinning its hopes on further discounts to woo freight forwarders to increase their transhipment volumes through MASkargo's Advanced Cargo Centre at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
