The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has announced its new secretary general, will be Vladimir Zubkov, replacing Doug Brittin, who retires at the end of the year. EU failed to remedy 40 years of Airbus subsidies: WTO
A World Trade Organisation (WTO) compliance panel ruled on 22 September that the European Union has failed to comply with its obligation to remedy the massive subsidies European governments have provided to create and sustain Airbus for more than 40 years. IATA-FIATA call for states to ratify MC99
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) have released a joint position paper calling for states to ratify the Montreal Convention 1999 (MC99) treaty to promote trade facilitation.
