Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) announces the opening of a new temperature-controlled facility in Copenhagen, marking its ability to handle pharmaceutical cargoes. The investment is in support of WFS’ airline customers’ growing pharma volumes and WFS’ own IATA CEIV Pharma certification programme in Denmark, which it expects to complete in early 2018. WFS selected for Airbus Beluga handling contract in Getafe
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been selected by Airbus to handle its giant Beluga A300-600ST Super Transporter at Airbus facilities in Getafe, Spain. WFS has opened a new station inside the Airbus facilities in Getafe, which will see the aircraft operating between Getafe and the other Airbus plants in Europe on an almost daily basis.
