(L-R) Ray Miller, Director, Sales & Customer Support, Actuation GBU, Safran Electronics & Defense; Ringo Lee, Head of Business Development and Commercial, HAECO Component Overhaul, and Bobo Ko, General Manager, HAECO Component Overhaul.

HAECO announced a new component maintenance agreement with Safran Electronics & Defense Actuation Systems to support the Airbus A320 and A330 aircraft. Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to provide comprehensive repair and overhaul services for flight control and actuation components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for operators in the Asia-Pacific region.

Sandra Nieuwenhuijzen, Group Director Components & Engine Services of HAECO, stated, “We are honoured to strengthen our partnership with Safran Electronics & Defense, a global leader in flight control and actuation systems. This collaboration enables us to deliver world‑class maintenance solutions for Airbus A320 and A330 fleets. By integrating Safran’s advanced technologies with HAECO’s proven engineering and maintenance capabilities, we reaffirm our shared commitment to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational performance for airlines across the Asia‑Pacific region.”

Prior to this agreement, HAECO had also established partnerships with Safran on other aircraft maintenance projects, including being authorised by Safran Aerosystems to develop maintenance capabilities for the C919 evacuation slide, and collaborating with Safran Aircraft Engines on the installation of the Reverse Bleed System on LEAP engines. This new agreement further strengthens the cooperation between the two companies, highlighting their shared commitment to delivering high-quality, localised maintenance solutions that meet the evolving needs of global operators and customers.

As an operating company within the HAECO Group, HAECO Component Overhaul offers a comprehensive range of repair and overhaul services for aircraft components, which includes supporting the closed-loop repairs of components from airframe maintenance checks and on-wing engine services. With purpose-built facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen, the Chinese Mainland, HAECO also operates as an OEM-authorised repair station, providing certified and warranty repair services for a wide variety of component types.
