American Airlines Cargo has made a significant enhancement to its temperature-control programme by adding the Envirotainer e1 and e2 containers to its lineup of healthcare shipping solutions. Virgin invests in lightweight cargo nets
Virgin Atlantic Cargo is to start using lightweight air cargo nets with Dyneema, as part of its ongoing contribution towards the airline’s target of reducing aircraft CO2 emissions by 30 per cent by 2020. Saudia Cargo has appointed ACP Worldwide as its Cargo GSA across South Africa. Saudia Cargo operates a three times weekly B747 freighter flight from Johannesburg to Jeddah and Amsterdam, with shared frequencies to Nairobi. China’s YTO makes maiden flight, launches B737-800BCF programme
Boeing has announced it has entered into an agreement with YTO Airlines – a Hangzhou-based Chinese express cargo carrier – to provide the airline with 15 B737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCFs) following a planned programme launch for the type. The order was announced during President Xi Jinping's ongoing visit to the US and delivery dates were not specified.
