Pointing to the slow recovery in air transport demand, Japan Airlines (JAL) said it will cut capacity on its international network. VIETNAM: Vietnam Airlines ups its Airbus orders
Vietnam Airlines announced at the Paris Air Show that it has placed a firm order with Airbus for 16 more single aisle A321s and signed a Memorandum of Understanding for two additional A350-900 XWBs. SINGAPORE: SIA pilots agree to no pay leave and pay cut
Singapore Airlines (SIA) and the Air Line Pilots Association – Singapore (ALPA-S) have signed an agreement with effect from 1 July, under which all pilots in the airline will take one day of leave without pay each month and a cut of 65 per cent of one day’s pay, pro-rated from monthly basic salary.
