Airbus A350-1000 receives EASA and FAA Type Certification
In less than a year, the A350-1000 has received Type Certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The certified aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines. Air Senegal becomes first airline in Africa to purchase A330neo
Air Senegal, the national carrier of Senegal has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for two A330neo aircraft, which is the new re-engined version of the best-selling A330 widebody airliner. Ethiopian Airlines boosts 777 freighter fleet
Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines announced an order for four Boeing 777 Freighter's – the world's largest and longest-range twin-engine cargo jet – in a deal valued at more than $1.3 billion at list prices. WFS selected for Airbus Beluga handling contract in Getafe
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been selected by Airbus to handle its giant Beluga A300-600ST Super Transporter at Airbus facilities in Getafe, Spain. WFS has opened a new station inside the Airbus facilities in Getafe, which will see the aircraft operating between Getafe and the other Airbus plants in Europe on an almost daily basis.
