Malaysia Airlines considering new widebody order
Malaysia Airlines is considering placing a new order for up to twenty-five widebody aircraft airline chief executive officer (CEO) Peter Bellew has said in an interview. According to Manila's The Star newspaper, Bellew said the A330 and A350 Families were currently under consideration along with the B787. A decision is due by the middle to end of next year, he said. Donghai Airlines and Boeing announced today the finalisation of an order for five B787-9 Dreamliners, valued at US$1.32 billion at current list prices. Shenzhen-based Donghai Airlines announced its intent to order 25 B737 MAX 8s and five B787-9 Dreamliners in July at the Farnborough International Airshow.
