Lufthansa welcomed a brand-new Boeing 777F landed at Frankfurt Airport on 31 August, according to a press release. Registered D-ALFH, the cargo aircraft made its departure from Everett Airport in Washington State, and the flight took 9 hours and 24 minutes. European aircraft manufacturer Airbus registered 302 net orders as of July-end after 67 cancellations, a press release confirmed. Four new orders were received for the month of July. Boeing announced production stoppage of the 747 jumbo jet following news that numerous airlines would be retiring their 747 fleets due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, data and analytics firm GlobalData stated in a press release.
