Abu Dhabi airport sees 12.8% cargo growth
Abu Dhabi International Airport handled 797,069 million tonnes of cargo in 2014, representing a 12.8 per cent on the previous year. Icelandair Cargo begins a weekly scheduled freighter operation from Boston Logan (BOS) to its hub in Keflavík, Iceland (KEF) starting today. 2014 was another solid year for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol‘s cargo traffic, beating 2013 by 6.7 per cent. The final quarter of the year was once again its strongest, maintaining the classic last-quarter-peak pattern which was the norm before the 2008 global recession.
