South Korean LCC Jin Air Co. will launch new international flights in the second half of 2014 as part of its strategy to expand its footprint in the airline industry. The wholly owned budget unit of Korean Air Lines Co. will start semi-weekly flights linking Jeju Island to China’s Xian and Quanzhou starting on 2 October. UPS expands Incheon air hub in Korea
UPS officially opened its newly expanded hub at Incheon International Airport. Situated within the airport's cargo terminal area, the newly expanded hub occupies over 9,000 square metres, more than 60 per cent increase in size. United Cargo will add three new tracking and monitoring devices on its entire mainline jet fleet of more than 700 aircraft, increasing the number of cargo tracking and monitoring devices accepted by the carrier to 13.
