Korean Air flies direct to Milan, Rome

Korean Air has announced that commencing 25 February 2015 it will change the current service on its Seoul Incheon - Milan - Rome – Incheon route, to provide direct flights to both Milan and Rome, offering three flights a week to each destination, with Milan increasing to four times a week in March. UPS expands Incheon air hub in Korea

UPS officially opened its newly expanded hub at Incheon International Airport. Situated within the airport's cargo terminal area, the newly expanded hub occupies over 9,000 square metres, more than 60 per cent increase in size. Dachser now sole shareholder in South Korea

German logistics company, Dachser, is now operating business in South Korea as Dachser Korea Inc., effective 1 July. The global logistics provider has had presence in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) since 2006 as MGI & Dachser Inc. Hawaiian to start Incheon service next year

Hawaiian Airlines is launching a four times weekly service to South Korea using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft from January 2011, as part of its ambitious expansion into Asia as it continues its evolution from an inter-island and West Coast carrier to a more significant international player. Korean Air reports net loss

Korean Air reported a full-year 2008 net loss of KRW1.96 trillion (US$1.4 billion), reversed from a net profit of KRW11.1 billion in 2007, citing the weak won as the biggest contributor to the heavy decline. It also said yesterday that it is boosting its A380 order from eight aircraft to 10 and will initiate "more aggressive investment" this year with the aim of achieving a "black ink balance" in 2009 while building "a foundation for future growth."
