Teleport, the air logistics unit of Capital A, and VietJetAir Cargo have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Air Cargo Southeast Asia 2023 event last week. Blended SAF powers Cebu Pacific’s Narita-Manila flight
Cebu Pacific became the first carrier in the Philippines to use sustainable aviation fuel from Japan as it operated its Airbus 321neo on flight 5J 5055 from Narita Airport to Manila on 25 October. Finnair Cargo has good reason to celebrate the airline’s 100th birthday in November as it made another significant step towards fully self-sustainable energy production for its facilities. Lufthansa Cargo has taken another step to achieving its carbon neutral targets by 2050 as it put back into service a Boeing 777F equipped with AeroSHARK technology on 13 October. This is the fourth freighter to be equipped by Lufthansa Technik with the technology since February this year. Emirates and Neste have expanded their partnership with an agreement for the supply of over 3 million gallons of blended sustainable aviation fuel in 2024 and 2025, for flights departing from Singapore Changi and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
