The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has announced its new secretary general, will be Vladimir Zubkov, replacing Doug Brittin, who retires at the end of the year. In September 2016, Asia-Pacific and Middle East air freight grew, despite global trade growth remaining weak, according to the latest statistics from the Airports Council International (ACI). In September 2016 Asia-Pacific generated robust growth at +6.7 per cent whereas the Middle East increased at +3.1 per cent. Ethiopian Airlines to fly new Oslo service with B787
Africa’s fastest growing carrier, Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it will commence scheduled five weekly flights to Oslo, Norway via Stockholm with a B787 Dreamliner effective 26 March 2017. Etihad Cargo defies market lethargy with record monthly uplift
Etihad Cargo has recorded its busiest month ever in October, uplifting 53,785 tonnes of cargo and surpassing its previous best, achieved in November 2014, by 501 tonnes.
