Singapore Airlines’ profit nose-dives
Singapore Airlines has posted a fiscal third-quarter net profit down 43 per cent amid significant fuel-hedging losses, shrinking demand for cargo and passenger travel. Japan Airlines (JAL) and Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) have agreed to begin code share cargo flights from 29 March. The agreement will begin with code-share flights between Narita, Tokyo and Chicago and Los Angeles with a later expansion to New York, Seoul and Shanghai, pending approval.
