TSA will likely not meet 100% screening mandate
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will miss a congressionally mandated deadline to screen 100 per cent of US-bound air cargo by the first of August, US lawmakers noted recently. IATA success in standardising cargo liability
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced the standardisation of cargo liability limits. With effect from 1 July 2010, the Air Waybill (AWB) Conditions of Contract (IATA Resolution 600b) have been changed to harmonise the application of the Montreal Convention liability limit for all air cargo across all routes. Rolls-Royce (RR) has celebrated the first run of the Trent XWB, the latest member of its Trent aero engine family.
