Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) – Hong Kong’s largest third party handling company – has handled four temperature sensitive Arctic foxes for Air Canada Cargo travelling from Hong Kong to Montreal, Canada. Chi Chi and Cindy (females), together with Siu Chu and Yau Nam (males) were carried on a B777-200 by Hactl customer Air Canada Cargo. Collaboration crucial if UK air cargo is to compete and grow

IATA pessimistic on cargo growth this year
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has released a pessimistic view on air cargo growth saying, “it is shaping up to be another tough year for air cargo” pointing to the latest 2.0 per cent drop in volumes against a 6.9 per cent rise in capacity. Frankfurt is aiming to become the largest certified pharmaceutical gateway in Europe with a number of companies concurrently pursing the IATA CEIV Pharma certification with the support of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt. Shanghai’s PACTL continues growth track in Q1
Shanghai Pudong Int’l Airport Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd. (PACTL) has continued its growth path achieving two new records in the first quarter of 2016. Having processed 142,297 tonnes of air cargo, the company reached an increase of 6.8 per cent year-on-year in the month of March.
