China Airlines renews Fraport Cargo Services contract early

Fraport Cargo Services (FCS) and China Airlines have renewed the carrier’s cargo handling contract at Frankfurt Airport in advance of the date required – “thus carrying on their trustful partnership of more than 20 years,” the ground handler said. The Emirates Group today announced its half-year results for 2015-16, showing continued business growth and a strong performance. Group revenue reached AED 46.1 billion (US$ 12.6 billion) for the first six months of its 2015-16 financial year, down 2.3 per cent from AED 47.2 billion (US$ 12.9 billion) during the same period last year, reflecting the impact of the strong US dollar against major currencies. Fraport, WFS complete partnership deal

Fraport AG and WFS have completed the transaction for a strategic partnership in the area of airfreight handling at Frankfurt Airport. Under the agreement signed in July 2015, Fraport has sold a 51-per cent share in its Frankfurt-based Fraport Cargo Services GmbH (FCS) subsidiary to WFS, the world's largest independent air cargo handler.
