Preliminary traffic figures for the month of July released today by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) show continued growth in both air freight demand and international passengers. CEVA expands freight management facilities in Los Angeles
CEVA Logistics has expanded its Los Angeles (LAX)/Torrance freight management operation. One of the largest operations in CEVA’s global network, the company’s LAX/Torrance station now comprises three facilities totaling more than one million sq. ft. (92,903 sqm.) and 170 dock doors. Iceland volcano threatens Eyjafjallajökull repeat
The Icelandic Met Office in mid-August raised its aviation alert level to ‘orange’ as a result of activity in the Bardarbunga volcano, following a major earthquake, the largest in the area since 1996. On the five-color scale, orange sits one level below red, which denotes an active eruption, or one that is imminent. Nordisk begins LD3 delivery to Korean Air
AAR’s Nordisk Aviation Products has started delivery of 400 Nordisk AluLite AKE air cargo containers to Korean Air.
