DHL announced that its freight forwarding division DHL Global Forwarding has signed a security partnership with Air India-SATS, Bengaluru, the cargo terminal operator at the Bangalore international airport. WFS awarded full ground handling at Paris Orly
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) commenced new full ground handling contracts at Paris Orly from the beginning of November for Royal Air Maroc, Air Caraïbes, Air Mali, Air Burkina andMauritania Airways. Royal Air Maroc operates some 17 daily flights from the airport using a range of Boeing 737, 747 and 767 aircraft as well as Airbus A320s. Saudi Arabian Airlines has said it will establish a private company within six months to provide ground and passenger services at the Kingdom’s airports. HK’s AAT sees 12% decline throughput in Sept
Asia Airfreight Terminal Co Ltd (AAT) announced today its tonnage throughput for September 2009 was 47,182 tonnes, down 12 per cent compared with the same month last year. Export cargo registered 32,967 tonnes, a decline by 11 per cent against same period last year. Import cargo volume for September was 13,887 tonnes, recording a decrease of 14 per cent from last year. SATS records 26% growth in profit
Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) has reported a S$40.9 million (US$20 million) profit for the three months to 30 September, up 26.2 per cent year-on-year, the second quarterly growth following four consecutive periods of declines.
