Express integrator TNT has opened a new Philippines-based depot in San Fernando, Pampanga province north of Manila. UK’s BAA airport group sees slowing decline
UK airports group BAA – which owns London airports Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted as well as Southampton in Southern England and Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen in Scotland – said cargo traffic showed a slower rate of decline in July, but was still down 11.7 per cent on the year. Fraport traffic points to continued recovery trend
Fraport’s July cargo figures continue to suggest a recovery with Frankfurt Airport’s (FRA) rate of decline in airfreight moving into the single-figure range for the first time this year. Haneda may play more important cargo role
Transportation companies including Yusen Air & Sea Service and All Nippon Airways and government officials are looking at joint transfer services for air freight between Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports, Nikkei English News reported.
