Schiphol community launches CEIV Pharma programme
The Amsterdam Airport Schiphol logistics community has launched a closed pharma chain programme that will be International Air Transport Association (IATA) CEIV Pharma-certified, and will offer pharma manufacturers new levels of transparency. ICAO adopts position tracking amendments to prevent another MH370
Aiming to avoid the recurrence of MH370-type disappearances, the International Civil Aviation Organsiation (ICAO) Council adopted new provisions this week aimed at preventing the loss of commercial aircraft experiencing distress in remote locations. The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Council has issued clarifications on its earlier prohibition on the carriage of lithium ion batteries as cargo on passenger aircraft.
