American Airlines Cargo expands Atlanta cargo facility
American Airlines (AA) Cargo has expanded its operations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) with a brand-new, 12,000-square-foot facility with new additions to the management team and a fully dedicated staff. This is the second expansion of American’s Atlanta cargo facility since 2013. IAG Cargo will begin cargo services with its new B787-9 Dreamliner this October, five times weekly on the London Heathrow-Delhi route. Cathay Pacific group sees flat cargo growth in June
Cathay Pacific Airways has released its combined Cathay Pacific and Dragonair traffic figures for June 2015 that show a marginal increase in the volume of cargo and mail along side a healthy rise in the number of passengers carried compared to the same month in 2014. Cathay Pacific and Dragonair carried 141,136 tonnes of cargo and mail last month, an increase of 0.5 per cent compared to June 2014.
