SA crew held after drugs found The 15 crew of a South African Airways flight have been released on unconditional bail with no charges laid after drugs with a street value of £310,000 were found in three suitcases at the flight crew checkpoint at London Heathrow. The ten women and five men including the captain, first officer and air stewards - were held when customs officers found about 4kgs of cocaine and 50lbs of cannabis in the suitcases. Losses at both American and United

US carrier parents AMR (American) and UAL (United) have reported fourth quarter losses of US$214 million and US$547 million respectively. New US-NZ freighter service for Qantas

Liepzig/Halle sees jump in cargo thanks to DHL

2008 good year for cargo at Paris-Vatry

Scheduled airfreight traffic at Paris-Vatry Airport last year increased by 10.5 per cent over 2007 with total tonnage handled at the airport in 2008 reaching 41,203 tonnes. US small-business optimism revealed in UPS survey
