The operations of FCS Frankfurt Cargo Services GmbH and WFS Worldwide Flight Services in Frankfurt have been fully merged following the takeover of FCS by WFS a few months ago. Since 1 February 2016 FCS has been in charge of the WFS handling - with physical handling carried out by FCS using its warehouse facilities. American Airlines has submitted a proposal to the US Department of Transportation to begin daily nonstop service from Los Angeles to the Chinese capital of Beijing, two weeks after Delta Air Lines announced a similar bid.
